The terms and conditions of the veg box scheme as laid out in the sign up email are summarised here:
Delivery
- Boxes will be delivered weekly
- After each delivery you'll get an email from me listing the box contents and including cooking tips and links to recipes.
- It is very important that you leave out your box from the previous week
- Please also leave out a jug of water for us to leave leafy veg in
Environmental Health
- For environmental health purposes all veg is sold as unwashed and it is your responsibility to wash it
Opt-outs
- We cannot offer opt-outs of particular types of veg but will send out recipe emails to help you make the most of the veg in your box
Box size and contents:
- Box sizes are as follows:
Small: 5 items in 2 person portions.
Medium: 7 items in 2 person portions
Large: 7 items in 3 person portions
- We try to balance each box with a variety of different kinds of vegetables including roots, leafy greens, salad, protein rich legumes and our lush polytunnel crops.
Payment
- This year rather than standing orders boxes will be invoiced at the beginning of the month.
- I will aim to send invoices 2 weeks before the beginning of the month.
- Invoices need to be paid before that month's boxes are delivered.
- Please pay by BACS, details will be on the bottom of the invoice.
Holidays
- Please give at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel a week's box.
- If you take a holiday then that box will be deducted from the following month's invoice, by way of refund. Either way you won't be charged for boxes you don't consume but this avoids the bank charge on an additional transaction.
Cancellation
- You can cancel your membership at any time and any outstanding credit will be refunded.
